Tigger became the first bobcat we ever admitted on February 5,
1992 at the age of 2. An individual had purchased Tigger in
Wisconsin and raised him in his home the first year before
transferring him to an outdoor cage the second year. Tigger was
confiscated by the Department of Natural Resources for lack of
proper permits by the owner. He could not be released primarily
because he was socialized by humans at an early age and declawed.
Sadly, Tigger passed away in March of 2012. He will be greatly
missed.
