Cappuccino is a Barn Owl and was brought to TreeHouse
from California by way of Wisconsin.  He was a baby when a
good samaritan noticed the nest where he and his siblings
were hatched and ready to take flight for the first time.

After several days of watching the babies take off from the
nest, they noticed that one little owl wouldn't, or couldn't fly.
He fell out of the nest and just hopped around.  Being afraid
that he would be eaten by a fox, or other predator, the good
people picked him up and took him in.

From there he was sent to a wildlife center in Wisconsin, but
they were unable to determine his reason for not flying, so
they contacted TreeHouse, who gladly took him under their
wing.  It was found that he has a genetic bone deformity and
will never be able to fly.  He will live out his days at
TreeHouse helping to educate people about wildlife.
Adopt Cappuccino today and help
provide food and care for him and other
animals at TreeHouse.
