TreeHouse Wildlife Center sits on approximately 8, serene and beautiful acres in Dow, IL
where the water is clean and the air crisp and breathable.  It's the ideal environment for
injured or orphaned animals who need time to recuperate.

Complete with a pond for waterfowl, large outdoor cages for animals ready to be released
and indoor havens for permanents residents, TreeHouse has it all.  Veteran Wildlife
Technicians give urgent assessment and professional care to all animals who come to
TreeHouse.  Volunteers feed them, clean their cages and refresh their water daily.

In addition to world-class animal care, TreeHouse also caters to humans interested in
learning more about their wild neighbors. For 13 years TreeHouse has been providing tours
to thousands of children on school field trips; to scout groups working on wildlife badges;
and to clubs, organizations, and groups of senior citizens. Those attending our Spring and
Fall open houses have learned about wildlife and the constantly changing problems facing
wildlife.

The Education Center is host to numerous classes on local wildlife designed for children
ages 1 to 100 and the conference center is the perfect place to hold off-site meetings and
allow employees the opportunity to 'get back to nature and relax.

Our new intern quarters will host college students from around the country who would like to
get hands-on experience in animal rescue, rehabilitation and husbandry (
not to mention the
releases
).  TreeHouse will be working with local schools to offer college credit to interns.
